Hi and welcome to the forum.

Firstly, where do the debts come from and have you been threatened with bailiffs?

Debt collectors cannot enter your home and you do not have to pay them anything.

Bailiffs can enter if you allow them to or if you have left a door or window open. They will usually do a walking possession and will assess the value of your goods against the debt and may well come back at a later date and remove them.

It would be better to try and come to some sort of arrangement with them for payment.

If you can give us more information then we will be able to help with better specific advice.
