Can anyone tell me if mobile phone companies check your credit rating when you apply for an upgrade? I am discharged but haven't started cleaning up my credit file yet. I am on contract and have been with the same company for about 15 years, never missing a payment. I badly need to upgrade but am worried that I'll get refused and get into problems with them. Thanks! |

I also upgraded with Vodafone while I was BR and didn't have any problems.

Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 and I'm now looking forward to getting married in September 2012 - I'm proof that you can go BR and come out the other side. |

Just to confirm, i upgraded recently with tmobile whilst i was still a bankrupt (now discharged) without any problems. |

I've never had a problem upgrading. They only check your payment record with themselves.

I have had three upgrades since BR and no probs
