Posted - 12 July 2013 : 16:38:24 HI my husband has a hp agreement with Black Horse for a car that we can no longer afford. He has defaulted for three months and they have told him they are coming to take it today. its not what we want to do and I am worries about the impact on my home. The house is in my name and we are about to embark on a dmp with the CAB - I can't get hold of anyone there today and I'm frantic about what to do. All of this stress is killing us and having an effect on us finding work. I am self employed and husband is on pension credits. Other than that we have no income coming in at the moment - a situation which I am desperate to put right soon. Help.

Have you taken advice from a debt advisor? Who has the CAB referred you to?
How much is your overall debt? How much equity is in your home? What will the shortfall be on the car HP once repossessed?
