Posted - 31 October 2013 : 15:04:47 HI. I am a UK home owner, trying to sell to take the money overseas. Currently the house is vacant and i am still paying a mortgage on it. I have around £20,000 in debt to various credit card companies. I no longer live or work in the UK, as i am now an Australia resident living and working in Australia. What are my options to write off my debt with the credit card companies after i sell my house, or before. Can i declare bankruptcy from overseas?
