Good advice from Viki. I suggest that you either speak to an expert from here or contact CAB.
Bear in mind that if you both go bankrupt it will cost you £700 each.

It really depends on both your circumstances, such as jobs, if you are both struggling, amount of debt you both have etc.
I suggest you speak to an expert to chat through your whole situation and see what options are available.
