Posted - 20 March 2014 : 11:17:14 Due to poor health over the last couple of years my company has suffered and as a result has accumulated debts with the hmrc and inland revenue, I need to close the company down and declare bankruptcy but don't know where to start or who to turn to.

I, too, am sorry about your health and I am sure that things will turn out okay. More information about your company is needed and if you are a limited company, you may get away with liquidating the company and save yourself from bankruptcy.

As Viki says, contact an expert to talk things through with. There are a couple on here whose details are on the left hand side of the page. Alternately, speak to your local CAB.
