Posted - 09 August 2014 : 14:02:56 I was made bankrupt in may 2010 but was granted an early release in September 2010 . however having searched the insolvency register I don't appear to be on it . Does this mean that I am free of restrictions and clear of all bankruptcy restrictions ?

Do remember to check all three credit reference agencies (Call Credit, Experian and Equifax) to see if there are still defaults showing against your debts. If so, write to those creditors and tell them to remove those defaults.
Your BR will remain on your credit record until May 2016.
