If you don't mind me asking, what are your total debts? It may be that a different solution might be better? Are you working?

Posted - 21 September 2014 : 20:00:02 Brilliant, thank you very much for your response. I'm in a shared-ownership house - I own it 50/50 with a housing association. It's the biggest mistake I've ever made to be honest!

If you have no joint finances then your partner won't be affected, neither will your address.
