Posted - 12 November 2014 : 21:53:14 i have a court date for repossession , hi all was hoping it wasn't going to come this as quick but i have a court date from soliciters for the 10 th of december acting on behalf of my mortgage company , i was just wondering how long after this will the house be repossessed , i am in the process of looking for rented houses at the mo . but not sure how much time i have after the hearing

Posted - 13 November 2014 : 09:53:52 As Niobe has said, you need to liaise with the mortgage company. If you don't leave voluntarily when they want you to then they can appoint bailiffs to evict you, but that would require a court order. Best to try and set a date with the mortgage company.
Sorry to hear of your problems. I don't know how long you will have - might be worth speaking to your mortgage company to ask them?
Hopefully you can find somewhere before then and get settled in for Christmas.
