Morning all,

I am currently filling in my statement of affairs and would like some help if possible please.

Section 3.

Do I need to list the following and if so where ?

2 x TVs in the house worth £200 each
1 x DVD Player worth £50.00
1 x PC with LCD worth £250
1 x car for getting to work , taking kids to school, doctors etc. Worth £2000 - £3000 (35 miles per day round trip to work)
1 x laptop worth £100
1 x laptop worth £100
1 x mobile phone £100

What about bed, clothing, linen etc.. ?

I looked online for an example asset list (which would be handy) but couldn't find one.

Also, I have been living with my partner for 15 years, we are not married, have two kids.

Can we go joint BR?

Any help would be appreciated.

Take it easy
Matt

Hi Sleeplessnights,

You'd list your company car in the section pertaining to the use of a vehicle that you do not own.

Hi SN

Not sure, i would say it goes in the bit where you say you have access to a vehicle but tech it is not yours but the OR will just check to make sure that you dont have or never have had your name on the V55 Log book.

Hi
Jo's right re the assets.
From your list only the car needs to be entered on your SoA.

There is no such thing as a joint bankruptcy.
You can of course both go BR at the same time but your cases will be dealt with seperately and you will have to pay 2 sets of fees (2 X £495).

Hi SN,
The only assets we listed were the house and the car. We did not list any household items as ours are all less than £250 and its stuff for the house anyhow.
Not sure about going BR as a couple when not married, maybe one of the other experts will know that answer.
Take care.
