i suffer from mental health issues and am waiting to see a phyciatrist due to depression (possibly) manic am waiting for a diagnoses will this STOP me from obtaining Bankruptcy as BR seems the only way out

Hi Sky,

Issues like yours are all too common. I have spoken to a number of GPs who tell me a large percentage of people they see have stress-induced illnesses caused by financial worries.

I sincerely doubt you'd be declined a BR order ... if anything, your illness is a contributing a mitigating factor, and you'll find the court and OR very sympathetic.

From what i understand there should not be an issue with filing for BR, but have you looked at other options.

We need a bit more info. Thats if you can. Do you have a property, what size of debts etc etc.

It may be worth giving our helpline a call and having a verbal conversation about your options, the number is at the top but its
