Posted - 15 September 2008 : 10:55:01 I lived with a family member then moved in with ny partner on the 4th July. 15th August I went bankrupt so had to go to the court in the area of my family but had to put down both addresses on my forms.
None of my creditors know my new address, 1) because I was in an IVA until my bankruptcy and 2) I only just moved.
I got a stay of advertisement which meant my address etc. couldn't be printed in the papers or on the insolvency register.
Basically what I need to know is, 1) will my creditors know my new address and 2) if they don't will this cause problems for my family member at my previous address i.e. obtaining credit even though I have moved?

Posted - 15 September 2008 : 12:49:55 Hi why not write to them, anonymously, explaining what you are doing and that there should no repercussion on them. In the unlikely event they do come across a problem when applying for credit explain in the letter what they would need to do as per Julian's post.

The OR may chose to inform your creditors, but that's at their discretion.
Your family members can file a Notice of Dissassociation with the credit reference agencies which will remove the impact of your credit rating/history on them.
