Hello

Please could someone advise how long after the OR interview that the letters confirming exemption of car and household assets arrive?

I had my interview on the 18/09 and havnt received anything yet.

The other thing is that I have just moved to Scotland on 22/09 and he said he would send out a questionnaire to list my expenses because I had no idea at the time what they would be.That questionnaire arrived on sat and returned within 14 days. The problem is that I havnt had any bills for elec or phone yet so should I put done an estimate or ask for a bit more time? What does anyone think.

The other quesion is what is a reasonable amount for housekeeping/cleaning for single person?

Many thanks

Hi Nicola

At least you can stop worrying about it now. :-)

Just live each day to the full forget about those letters till they come in and if you have anything to sign and your not sure post about on here or call the helpline.

I know i do :-)

Thanks Jo.

I plucked up courage and rang them and he said exactly that, that they had a huge workload and would be done when they were done.He was quite nice about it.

Hi Nicola,

I had my interview 12/8, went BR 4/8 letters started to come in about the car etc about 4 or 5 weeks later.

My OR seemed a little slow with doing that but i have them starting to come in now slowly.

I think it all depends on work load, how they are getting on with your case etc etc.

Good luck

Hi

I had my interview on the 18th September and I had my letter saying my car was exempt exactly two weeks after.

Not sure about the bills Im afraid.

I was allowed £185 for a single person for housekeeping/cleaning.
