Posted - 07 October 2008 : 23:16:32 having just declared myself bankrupt on the advice of an insolvency practitioner. I was also giving the advice to change my bank account, this I did however the official receiver told me I would need to inform the bank, who promptly closed the account. I am now in need of a bank account in which to pay my monthly salary please advise of a bank which will allow this Thanks CB |

Posted - 08 October 2008 : 12:46:18 Hi BB
I too have the Co op cashminer account and have found it really good.
Its worth trying them if you can but there are banks out there even if you have to search a bit harder for those of us who are BR.
Good luck with it all.

Posted - 08 October 2008 : 10:52:34 I don't think Lloyds will open an account if you are BR, but will allow you to keep a pre BR account.

Posted - 07 October 2008 : 23:38:00 Hi b.b and welcome to the forum!
The co-op cashminder is the favourite on here at the moment. It allows DD's, SO's and has a visa electron card. We have them and we love them. If co-op are a creditor, it's worth trying the others pink-a-boo mentions.
Good luck! :-)
