Hi all,
Going BR tomorrow. have got 3 sets of forms printed off for each of us. Got the fees for both.
Q1, do we need to take forms of ID
Q2, do we sign the forms now or at the Court
Q3, although not overly religious can you all say a little prayer for us!
Plan of Action;
Court 9.15 and 9.45
Home and cup of tea
phone co-op and try to get account
if suceeded, sort out d/d and benefit payments etc.
If not- shoot myself
wait for OR to call
find the time to cry a little
How does that sound to everyone?

Thats so kind of you to say so. I know i have the expert status next to my name but i am just like you. I have had to go through the searching, the worries, the form filling and the court etc but i felt that as my name says that its in times like this that you needafriend.
I am honoured to be part of this site and feel the least i can do after all the help they gave me is give some back.
Thats great news about you printing of my blog, i add in stuff that i feel is relevent to not only me but hopefully will help others.
You know that as always its my pleasure to be of assistance and i know i cant always answer those question i can indeed be there for a shoulder and to lend an ear.

Jo,
Trust me - I shall be asking for all the prayers possible on Friday afternoon!!
I have been on this site since about June (don't post much as I am at work) but I am sure you must know how much your experience has helped me and those (possibly) hundreds of people also lurking in the background. In fact, I printed your blog off yesterday to take home to my husband!
You are right in a few other posts when you say that it is happening more and more and when ours is done and dusted, someone else will be just about to start the horrible journey.
I only hope that they find this site.

Hi Tracy,
I just wanted to wish you all the best for tomorrow.
I love your plan of action and will say a prayer for you if you do the same for me next Monday morning at 10.00 am (and hubby at 10.15)!
Actually, I think I shall replace the cup of tea with wine - even that early in the morning!!

You know when ever or whatever you will not be alone, and remember also that you wont be the last to go down the BR route, there are so many now having to make that choice that its almost like we are joining a new elite CLUB!

Hey Tracy
It will all be ok, before you know it you will be there, the court over with, then home drinking your cuppa and getting your account sorted out.
Oh by the way i did have my hands together and on my knees when i said your little prayer. LOL
Abbey do a basic account but you have to go to a branch to open.
And its ok to cry reality hits us in different ways, it may feel strange and not like its truely happened when you first get home, but when you need that shoulder give me a shout.

I thought if the co-op doesn;t work out i would try Barclays although its difficult cause all the banks are interlinked with the credit card companies.

Not sure about question 1 & 2
I will certainly be thinking of you (im not religious so dont think i should pray) ;-0)
I love the plan of action - i have now got to add in my daughter's parents evening (dreading that one, in between crying).
Im sure that you will be fine, but in case i dont get on in morning GOOD LUCK and let us know how it goes
