Posted - 09 October 2008 : 15:32:46 I am going bankrupt on 20th October. I am a self employed entertainer and obviously carrying on my business. I have recently paid a telephone bill and also paid for advertising my business.
This expenditure is essential to carry on my business and earn a living. Will the OR have any objection to this expenditure or any other expenses (car etc) incurred in running my business.

From the way i see it, that is essential spending so i would not worry, well that is what i would say about it, without advertising you have no job, no money coming in and then if you dont pay your phone bill your business would fail as its also a way for you to get clients and you have utilities to pay as normal. I would say it would be fine.
