Posted - 15 October 2008 : 12:01:48 Been BR since June 24th so not yet 4 months. Today i have received a letter asking me to complete new I&E's and they will then consider early discharge. Is this not very very early or is the timing about right. I know it takes a while to sort and obviously creditors can put a spanner in the works but is still seems a little early. Anybody else experienced or experiencing early discharge and if so what kind of time scale has it been.
Also i have still not heard anything about my house. Since my wife writing to say she would be interested in buying the BI we have heard nothing and that was about 2 months ago. Is this normal? The other thing with this is that 2 1/2 months ago there was a small amount of equity in the property, my wife therefore made a small offer to buy the BI. 2 1/2 months on there is now no equity, should my wife wait for them to get in touch and see what they have to say or should she write again stating that as there is now no equity she wants to withdraw the earlier offer?
Thanks in advance

Posted - 15 October 2008 : 13:10:13 Hi Hammy,
Just play the waiting game for now. I was discharged after 7 months, but I have heard of a case recently where discharge happened after only 4 months. Don't worry, the pieces will fall into place in due course!

From my understanding your ED is about right although its down to each office and each case, but which ever way thats good news. Fill in the form and send it off.
Also with regards to the BI i would just wait to hear from them, unless of course it is bugging you then you could give them a quick call, but again i would go with the flow.
Take care
