Posted - 15 October 2008 : 15:45:35 hi people. I have had to put back my br again due to ill health and the car going down (i drive a taxi). in the mean time my court date for possession has passed - 6th october. i did not attend but am growing concerned that i had heard nothing in terms of when i will be booted out. I am attemptiing to get as much of my stuff into storage as possible. my greatest fear is coming home and finding the locks changed and all my stuff inside without ay prior notice.

Posted - 16 October 2008 : 13:00:13 Fingers crossed! Just take it one day at a time and you'll be fine. If you try and deal with everything at once, it will just be overwhelming ... prioritise and you'll do just fine!

Posted - 16 October 2008 : 12:55:05 Thanks for the kind words. I've managed to get my car fixed so i can go back to work but i am feeling terrible. A combination of ongoing health problems, flu and a dash of depression! Excellent. Looks like i need to be out by the 3 November as thats 28 days from the date of the possession hearing. Onwards and upwards, still got my forms to do yet... argh.

Posted - 15 October 2008 : 16:29:07 Hi Porcorosso,
If posession has been granted, the lender will have to apply to the court for eviction which will give you 28 days to get out.
Hope you feel better soon.
