Posted - 15 October 2008 : 23:46:19 Guys thank you for the info re calling the number in response to my earlier post. But I couldnt get to talk to someone as they had gone home. Unfortuantely I cant get to speak to them during your open hours before my bankruptcy hearing due to work as the court had a cancellation and I am off on Tuesday 9:45 am!
On that basis please could you all have a look and offer me some advice!!
I have been doing my I & E please can you see if it looks ok to you all, I am concerned I might of missed off obvious things or am trying to appear greedy by asking for things they will frown apon.
My houshold is 1 Adult 1 child.
Rent 288.22 Elec 90.00 ( I assume this very high figure must include some arrears) Gas 40.00 Water 50.00 (inc arrears) Life Insurance 25.80 Car Insurance 25.00 Food 238.00 (Based on £40 adult, £15 child per week) Car MOT / Service / Repairs 53.00 Fuel 240.00 (Am sole relative for Elderly Grandparents who I have to go and do shopping etc for) Council tax 70.00 Contents Insurance 23.28 TV 11.95 Telephone 40.00 Mobile 25.00 Child club/ Activity (1 of) 15.00 Clothes 45.00 School Dinners 20.00 Child Care 404.00
Now Including my child benefit in my income figures (which I think I read some where you guys have said needs to be included) based on that and including the child benefit money there is surplus is £46.00
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Posted - 16 October 2008 : 09:10:48 Hi Clarity
CB should not be included by the OR but should be listed as an income, so then that should make you under the amount, but you need to get this part right otherwise it could mean the difference in paying an IPA or not and if you do end up with one how much you may end up paying.
If that makes sense.

Posted - 16 October 2008 : 08:56:40 Many thanks for the advice, if I call will they be able to help re the income etc then as I thought it was just the initial decision making process that they could help with?
Apologies I havent got the info with me at work, but the total income is £40 more then the list I put there of the expenditure. And I included Tax Credits and CSA payment and wages and also CB in my income figures. |

Posted - 16 October 2008 : 07:27:29 Hi Clarity
What is your total income as i cant see it there.
Also the arrears on your electric and water rates i believe can be included in your BR so you wont then be paying any extra.
I would try the number again and leave a message they call back at a time to suit you.
Best of luck

Posted - 16 October 2008 : 00:13:17 all sounds fine to me...the only thing the or may question is the petrol, but just explain why and stand your ground, also with that amount of surplus there wont be any i.p.a applied, im sure ill be corrected if im wrong, but i dont think im too wide of the mark...just keep in mind that this time next week, the weight on your shoulders will be mightily relieved, good luck and keep us posted.
