I would say you would be fine as technically you would only have sourced another home and not living there so all correspondance would be at your old address.

Posted - 16 October 2008 : 12:00:21 Hello,
I just wanted to say that I had to be at my registered address for 6 months before I could file for Bankruptcy - just double check with your court that yours is definately 3 months...I would hate for you to be disappointed.
Thanks

Posted - 16 October 2008 : 10:33:45 Hi Superbroke
You can start to fill in the forms ready and then as soon as your 3months 1 day deadline has come you can go for your BR.
Are you filling the forms out online, you can register and fill in the forms gradually and add in and change as required and then they only get submitted once you click submit and print them off.
Also if you know the date that allows the 3 months 1 day deadline and you have the fee you could book the court in for that date, unless you have to go to a court that you have to turn up for and hope they can see you.
Of course give the court a call and see what there procedure is for the court etc.
Take care and good luck
