many thanks

hi,well in a nut shell most of my debts are a result of my exhusband (and iam not dumping the blame on him, some are fruad but if i take him to court i would be on the run for the rest of my life,)been trying to divorce him for 5yrs, should be free of him in 8 weeks!
debts total about k95....mine are a personal loan of k3,provident k3(yes i know !!! but needed to done size from 4 bed to 2 bed and needed deposit!) car on hp 18 months left of £264 a month and 2 c/c total £1.700. have been just about making ends meet with other debts as and when they come out of woodwork! ie barclays old account in joint names of £180 but offered £100 to clear ,but got letter from mortgage company for k54 ,was in my name but gave him £1000 a month to put into another account to pay mortgage but he never did and after a yr of trying to sell gave keys back that was 4 yrs ago as house was very big (6/7 bed) and was also being haunted by ex ,
my income is
working tax cr £120 a week
housing benifit £124 a week
maintaince £264 a month
c/b £75 a month
self employement £400/500 a month
i sometimes have about £50 a month left over (does not include "his" debt repayments)
to be honest i am feed up of struggling and paying for his luxuries my solicitor advised going br to end this nasty cycle
i hope this helps
many thanks

Hi Lostinparadise

Welcome to our forum.

Before we can help with your question we need a little more info, if you dont mind.

Things like:

Assets do you have any, how long have you been in your IVA, has it failed now, is it just you considering BR or is there someone else.

How much are you in debt, have you spoken to anyone to get any more advice.

Thanks

Take Care

Jo x
