Posted - 20 October 2008 : 10:47:30 Hi
This should not affect his job as he has no financial responsibilties withing the school. I know of school caretakers that have gone bankrupt and it has not been an issue.
Have a look at his contract if any and see if there is a clause, but i know there are other memebers on here that work in schools etc and it has not affected their employment.
You could mention it to his employer if you want to but you dont have to it would be up to you.
I should not think that his job would be unsafe, but sometimes it best just to ask privately and you would be surprised how many say oh thats ok i have either done it before or know what your going through. Hope that helps:-)
Take Care
