Posted - 21 October 2008 : 10:43:29 Hello,
I am due to be automatically discharged on the 2nd November.
I am writing to the Court in order to get my Certificate of Discharge. I know it is £60, but i will need theoriginal in the future, when I apply for the police force.
My question is....when you are actually discharged, does anything actually change on the Insolvency Website - I know that it takes 3 months to come off - but what i mean is - can i just print my page off and send it off to the creditors NOW to show that i am discharged as of the 2nd Nov and to amend their records - as by the time it gets to them i will be discharged.
I just want to sort it all out now...and then I will send the same to the Credit Agencies and they can amend their files as well - as i want to start building my credit report up....
Thanks |

Yes once the OR has informed the Insolvencey register people that you are indeed now discharged the site will be updated, then you can check and print off for your own records.
Bare in mind though as you have said it only stays on the register for 3 months so if you need that to print i would do them as soon as you see it but you can of course pay the £60 to get a cert if you wish but unless you actually need a cert then i would just print it off.
Best of luck

I'm having fun and games doing mine at the moment, so good luck!
