Hi

I have had an alert to my credit report as expected, the BR is now on, but my question is - It is documented twice same entry duplicated, is this correct, or should I get one taken off or doesnt it matter?

Skippy you maybe the expert in this field lol.

Good luck for everyone who is either in Court or has interviews today.

All the best

take care x

Tracy,
I got free access to mine as one of my lovely creditors lost/sent my details onto people they shouldnt have - it was fair enough they did tell me it was a marketed company which I had ticked the no box, but they gave me unlimited free access to my credit report so hey ho lol!

Hi Siobhan

You dont have to get your credit report, it is a suggestion so that you can see what is actually going on behind closed doors so to speak.

If you dont get one now wait till your discharged then look it over and contact the appropriate companies about updating your file as required.

LOL

Hi
Now I've read these posts I will make sure I get copies of credit reports every 3-4 months, however can I ask why this is recommended?
thanks

I didn't bother until after I was discharged - I don't really see the point of doing anything with them until then.

So far Littlewoods, Natwest, Egg card, Egg loan have updated my files to show partially satisfied. Barclaycard have sold the debt on to Max Recovery and it's on the file twice, Next wanted proof that they were included in the BR and I'm waiting for Tesco to update theirs. I've got to write back to Max with a copy of my credit files and they have said they will then update them accordingly.

Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.

Hi Tracy

I would wait till say 9th Jan and then get one, it will allow the files to update and then i would get another in say april or may.

Hi i got mine 3 months after so basically now.

I did mine online for ordering and it gets posted out in a week so for the £2 for each report it is worth it.

Some show on one report settled/satisfied others defaults but it also shows a discharge date for the BR.

I would get one every 3-4 months or so, my next one will be Jan/Feb time and then i will wait till discharged, but i am aiming to get them every 3-4 months so i can keep an eye on them.

Best of luck

Hi Jo and GT,

How long did you leave it before getting your credit reports done. I said to my hubby that from now on we will be responsible with mony and that includes getting credit reports every 6 months or so. We have never get one in the past.
Thanks in adavance

Hi GT

When i got mine through it showed my maiden name also so i had mine listed twice.

Is it because you have previous names as i did.
