SECOND MY WIFE WANTS TO FILE FOR FIRST TIME SHE IS AMERICAN CITEZEN BUT SIDES IN THE UK PERMANANTLY AND ALL DEBT IS FROM THIS COUNTRY CAN SHE FILE OR NOT SHE HAS NO INCOME AS SHE DOESN,T WORK.

Posted - 24 October 2008 : 12:29:18 Hi when you do fill in your SoA unless you have goods worth over about £500 ish and would get a good return from selling them then i would not worry about listing them on there either.
The OR needs to make enough back to be able to get you another one and have money to go towards the creditors.
Usually normal household items like washing machines, cookers and sofas etc are not worth mentioning, unless like i have said they are antiques.
As the TV is now a year old it is not of high enough value to list in the asset section of your Statement of Affairs. Therefore it will not be claimed.
