Posted - 25 October 2008 : 15:43:59 Hi all
I filed for bankruptcy in mid August, all seems ok with the OR, had phone call and a couple of letters saying they have no interest in household goods and pensions.
Few days ago I received a Tax demand from Inland Revenue for £330.00 saying I need to pay immediatly (letter is dated September!.
The Tax owed is from when I was self employed 2007 (I am now employed). Do I have to pay this and should I inform the OR about it, obviosly I cannot afford to pay it at the moment and could do with not having to pay it at all.
Any advice please?

Posted - 25 October 2008 : 15:47:18 Hi there
I would inform the OR as i would say that this may be included in your BR as it is from a debt that was incurred before your BR petition and so technically could be included and written off.
Give them a call on Monday and send any paperwork to them for them to deal with.
Best of luck
Jo
