My interview is on 4th November. The majority of my debt accumulated was used to pay off other credit so that's all I can tell the OR.
I know I have probably been Irresponsible in using the available credit. but I also believe the credit card companies have a lot to answer for in increasing my credit limits over the years. So you could say they have also been irresponsible lenders.
My bankruptcy as also been placed in the newspaper now. No one has phoned me or spoke to me yet with regard to this and I doubt whether they will. After all it is no ones business. Unless you’re really looking for the bankrupt’s in the newspaper then you unlikely to see it. You must be really sad if you read the bankruptcy notices out of interest.

I think all br's go in the London Gazette, and possibly your local paper as well, although that seems to be at the OR's discretion. |

I went br 6th october had interview with OR on the 15th (wednesday) and was in the paper on the Friday but i have heard that its up to the OR when they do it.

I was also wondering what paper it would go in. I live in Birmingham so would it be in the Birmingham Mail or a more local paper to where I live? |

We went br on 10/10/08 and the notice appeared a few days later, still not been in our local paper though. |

Well i went br on 13 october and still not seen it. Although saying that im not too sure which paper it will be in.
The weights are coming off my shoulders very slowly, but making such a big diference !! |

Hi Kazy1 thanks for your reply. I have only started to read the bankruptcy notices in the paper prior to me going bankrupt, probably won't bother again, but who knows it may become an addiction like borrowing money.
