Posted - 03 November 2008 : 14:05:47 Hi All
As some of you may be aware that my OH had an IPA for his NT code which our examiner said our PAYE was £285 per month. I knew that was not right and so fought it, we have today finally got the confirmation from Moonbeever that the amount should now be £207 per month, thats a saving of £78 per month and i am so glad that we stuck to our guns.
They cleverly write the NT IPA in such a way that you think you are ok with that amount but they have on there "Estimate" and legally or not estimate means subject to change, thats why we persued this and we now have the amount down and the first payment has been sent to them for the £207 and will continue untill the 29th of March when the IPA ends and the new financial year begins.
I have no objection to paying just i felt on that occasion that they were wrong, so my moto here is if you feel it needs challanging then do it.
Best of luck
Jo

Posted - 03 November 2008 : 16:49:48 Hi Skippy
It will go by quite quickly now, like you have said the IPA may change for the better next year once you know what your meant to be paying on your mortgage.
You like so many on here have given so many hope when it come to BR and from me to you i want to thank you for all that you have done and still do for us here.
Thanks :-)

Posted - 03 November 2008 : 14:36:15 The 17 payments I've made so far seem to have gone quicker than the 4 payments I made into my IVA!
Our fixed rate mortgage finishes next summer, so I might have to ask to have the IPA reduced so I'll have to see what happens.

I would say that Moonbeever have been more helpful than my Examiner and the OR combined.
They like yours dealt with it very quickly and have been overall very nice.
They have not told me when to send the first payment, but i told them that it would go today to them and so show early next week and also from the 29th of each month until finish.
So your half way through now, i bet thats gone quickly now, before you know it that would have finished and you know your on the home straight.
Take care my friend.

Posted - 03 November 2008 : 14:22:46 I'm glad you got that sorted out Jo. I think I've been lucky with my IPA with Clarke Willmott - they have been really helpful and understanding and sorted everything out really quickly.
I can't believe I make payment 18 at the end of the month - once that's paid I'll feel like I'm on the home straight!
