Hi Jo - S10 here,
Hope you are well.
Last time I posted I found your replies most helpful, so I was wondering if I could pick your brain agin.
I have finally recieved a IPA agreement from the OR it is to run for 36mnths at £198 per mnth. What I am struggling to understand is that BR lasts a year so even after discharge, am I still expected to repay till the end of the agreement?
Still no news on my house wether they are going to ask me to sell or wether I can keep it, and no news on the fact I gave the money from my car to my ex for monies owed, but the fact an IPA has been sent to me I am looking at this more as a positive than a negative!

Any advise would be most welcome.
Kind Regards
S10

Hi S10

Yes you are expected to continue to pay into the IPA whilst your income allows it for the whole 3 years even after discharge.

If your income gos up or down then you must inform the OR as changes can be made to the IPA and when you move if you do then this may use some of the money that has gone into the IPA or it may be a case of you have a little more to spare. You have 28 days in which to inform the OR of any major changes whilst under the IPA and undischarged.

I would not worry about the house you will hear soon enough. Just take it one day at a time and the letters will start to come in.

Hope that has answered your question.

LOL
