Dear Forum
Hope you are all well!
Just thought I would share with you that I have finally bitten the bullet and booked a date for my BR - Mon. 01st December, 13:15pm.
I called them up and then bottled it and hung up, but then called them back and went ahead with it - it feels kind weird - hard to explain how I feel about it - kinda dread but relief at the same time!!!
I am sure I will be posting a lot over the next few weeks.

I think I am happier with the new date to be honest - it's an extra month of worrying but I think things will work out better in the long run with regards an IPA etc. |

I have had to change my BR date - it is now set for Mon. 05th Jan. 2009, 09:15am.
Oh well - just an extra month to wait... |

All the best for 1st December. I went bankrupt on October 20th and I can tell you that everything is pretty straight forward on your court day, so there is nothing to worry about here.
I had my interview with the OR on 4th November and for me that was the most worrying part, but everything went really well. I must admit I feel a bit empty at the moment, it is a strange feeling after being in debt for so long.
You will feel a lot better now you have made the decision to go bankrupt and become debt free life.

Well done for taking the big step!!
I did the same last week and me & my wife will be at court next Tuesday 8.30am!! I have been all over the place, feeling pressure but at least come next week it will be done.
This forum definetly helps with the stress!!! |

Thats great news, at least you can now see an end to all of this and before you know it it will all be over and you will be well on your way to your new life.
Its normal to feel a bit weird and happy at the same time as its strange but once you get that date then things become more real.

Good luck with it all. I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown getting stressed and worried sick over the whole thing. I cannot beleive how kind they were at the court. I got so worked up for nothing it was fine I was stunned.

Well done!! You'll probably be a bit up and down but that's TOTALLY NORMAL!!! We'll be here to pick you up when you need it. You have a date to aim for now and it really will fly by and you'll more than likely, like the rest of us come out and think, "was that it?"
