Posted - 11 November 2008 : 16:15:06 Hi, not been on the forum for a bit...I've been bankrupt for 6 months now and all is going well. On Sunday someone piled into the back of my car and it's away being repaired. I was wondering, if it is written off and I get a payout, do i need to inform the OR it and the details of a replacement vehicle?
Cheers
Jon

Posted - 14 November 2008 : 14:26:02 Thanks for that John...so i don' need to tell them about it at all? The only reason I ask is because how would they know if I bought a car that was 3/4k? Not that I can afford it...
Just interested

no this is not necessary. Just make sure that if you replace the car the new one is not of too high a value. £2K to £2.5K is fine.
