Hi all,
Sorry I've not been around as much recently-just letting life get back to normal I guess. I am reading though and will continue to help where I can.
I have a question though, if someone could help, please? Our phone company will soon be refunding our credit from the account we have now closed and I was wondering if we have to declare it. It's not a fortune, but with Christmas looming and all, it really would come in handy if we didn't! 
Any ideas anyone?

Can you not come to a deal with the OR say offer them half.

Hmmm maybe Pix has a point about getting into our examiners good books-we probably need it! Haha!
I'm not sure of the amount yet but maybe about £150. Too much too keep??

Are you and your partner both BR? If only you perhaps your partnet could keep the refund. Really it may depend what the amount is. Also, if you do declare it the OR will put you very much in their goods books and hopefully will progress your bankruptcy more advantageously. |

Like Jo says you might be ok if it's a small amount as the admin to collect the payment will probably cost more than the actual refund!

That's what I feared the answer may be, but hoped someone may say if it's only a small amount it's not worth declaring.

As far as I know the refund will have to be declared. Hopefully I'm wrong, but as far as I know anything like that 'belongs' to the OR.
