can i declare myself bankrupt if i dont own my own bisness
And could i have a repersentive to goto court for me like someone from cab ?

hi
My dets are £15000
My income is round about £700pm and my out goings is about £525
Been to cab about my dets and atm am on repayment to the 2 creditors. But am still strugling to meet the repayments
also i set up payment for 1 of the creditors via my bank which i payed end of august and noticed the payment was back in my bank
and now have had a letter saying i have to pay an extra £84 due to not paying :-(
any help would be apreceated

Hi there and welcome

if you are an individual , with debts that you cannot repay then yes you can declare yourself bankrupt.

you might want to let us know what your monthly disposable income is and the level of your debts so that we can help advise if Br is indeed the right route. You may find that there are other alternatives so good to cheque.

i understand that is some areas of the country the CAB may actually attend court - but i am led to believe that this is in very special circumstances. additionally i have been told recently that many CAB offices are limiting their debt advice to 4 hours.
