Posted - 27 November 2008 : 14:17:33 Due to being made redundant 18 months ago and not being able to find work I will need to go BR. The thing is I went BR 20 years ago. Will this cause problems and can the OR trace this if I don't mention it?

Posted - 27 November 2008 : 19:19:44 20 years is a very long time and there is a valid reason - redundancy - which has and will hit many people over the next 2 years.
I would not expect a BRO for being Br again 20 years on.

the forms clearlyask if you have been bankrupt before. To enter no in your case is not worth therisk as this is perjury.
As it was so long ago I doubt it would have an impact this time around but at worst you may be looking at a BRU for about 3 years.
