hi guys, just wondering what we should do regarding the house keys.....we are moving out of our mortgaged house in january and moving into rented accomodation and filing for br in feb, what do we do with them.....send to mortgage company (house also has a second charge on it by nemo finance) or give to the or?? also what about council tax...do we just inform the council that we are moving? the last thing we need is to be charged for 2 lots of council tax.
one more thing....obviously we are responsible for anything that happens to the house before filing br, but what about after we have...what if theres a fire or something, who would take the responsibility for it and would there be any fallback on us? (we're not planning anything by the way...just curious!)
