I read on here ages and ages ago that ORs dont like it if you seperate with other half straight after BR (if both gone BR as we have). Well we did just that!
Will inform OR this weekend, but as we only went BR 3 and a half months ago what do think they will do/say to me?
We have no IPA as never had interview!

Jo, I have emailed you our up-to-date I&E and also the covering letter etc, if you get a chance could you check it for me please?

Bit nervous (nothing new), both I&E had surplusses of about £5 each!
What do you think will happen now?

Hi GT,

Firstly i think you should change to name to GOT THERE as you have now ;-)

Anyhow, i would not worry about the OR, they just dont like paperwork and they forget that we are humans too and debts can cause a major disruption in our lives. Somethings just happen and others seem to follow suit.

I would let them know when your ready, you have to make the right choices for you, at the end of the day the OR can go home and forget about the cases they are dealing with, you on the other hand have to live with it daily, so like i have said dont worry about them.

Life is way too short, look after you and yours, deal with the OR when you have too.

Take care

Jo

Sorry to highjack your post TD,

I also was wandering whether OR would be upset with me when I let her know of change of circumstances in the New Year. Me and hubby separated in Late Aug/September, I went BR on the 17th Oct. We have both realised we we still love each other and cant let it go, so are in the process of not paying mort and savings for a family rental which is now secured for moving in 30th Jan. Hubby is currently in rental which finishes 1 Feb.

I was thinking that OR would not be impressed, thinking I have done it purposely (which I certainly didnt and would have never in a millions years planned this).

Good luck TD, hope things get easier, its never easy when the little one doesnt sleep well.

Take care x

Woke up feeling much brighter. Seems every 7 years I have a stinker of a year. Roll on 2009. I shall see it in, in the Caribbean (but not on holiday! Working!)

Hey TD

You stress as much as you want, your entitled to scream, shout and generally air your feelings however you want, thats what the forum is for and we are here to LISTEN.

I dont like to see you down, you have come a long way this year and have had many things to overcome, sod the rest, your better than that.

Those littleones will keep you going and we will always be here for you.

You take care and like John says its been a tough year and that you no way planned it, its all circumstantial.

SOD EM!

LOL

Hi TD

I would treat any negative reaction from the examiner, in respect of your relationship, with the contempt it would deserve if voiced.

Jesus H!!! Bankruptcy followed by a relationship break up - could they possibly think anyone would plan it that way?????

As Jo says, stay strong and be proud you're handling all this the best way you know how and dealing with two of the toughest things life can throw at you.

Hey TD

I have read and replied to your email.

I would not worry about the OR, its one of those things, you could have split before but you tried and thats all they need to know. Dont panic about the OR and what they are gonna say, it will all be ok.

You are informing them, and thats the best thing to do, your getting yourself sorted out and you have to do what right for you and you have.

Take care and try not to beat yourself over it, its not worth it.
