Sorry about that did not finish had finger trouble so I will start again.
Just to let you know I have decided to pay the £750 to the OR so I can keep my car. If you recall the OR's agent valued my car at £2750 and the parkers guide was £2690 Private good and £2271 Glasses guide excellent condition. I was going to dispute the agents value but since then the OR as asked me a few more awkward questions, and I do not want to upset him too much.
I did ask the agent how he had come to this value and he said that he used pretty much the same guides as anyone like parkers and Glasses. I quoted him the glasses guide price and he said that this figure was based on a trade in and not to buy my car. The agent also said people who go bankrupt seem to think thier car will be valued at the lowest price possible which is that is not true. Anyway I did not argue with him and I will send hime the cheque today, just not worth the hassle.
I would like to know what price the agent is going by then? If I had the guts and did not need my car, it would have been interesting to see what price they would have got for my car in auction. No where near £2750 I would think.
Still that's the car out of the way.
What's next I wonder?

The OR will usually arrange a drive-by valuation to confirm the value. I would suggest it may well be worth investing in a proper valuation (based on 90 day sale) to keep the value down.

Next is the house and my uncle is going to buy the BI with a bit of luck. Hope I don't have the same problem as my car with it be over valued?. The house next door went for £85000 in July and is exactly the same. I wonder what sort of figure the OR will put on my house and should I dispute it if he decides to put an higher figure on it.
