Hi

Sorry for all the questions but,
is Barclaycard and Barclays Bank linked my old IVA company said they werent in the way that they didnt share details, but unsure.

So if I go bankrupt could I open a bank account with Barclays afterwards or not, or would I have to stay with Think

Thanks

Stu

I had conflicting information from Barclays, one person said they would look into the application but the fact that Barclaycard was part of BR might go against me & then when I tried to pursue it further I was then told they dont offer bank accounts to undischarged BR.

I wish these places would get there facts straight, its very annoying!

Hi Stu

I would air on the side of caution with these banks as they all seem to be involved with one another in some way, having said that, i went with Abbey for savings and i had a car loan with them which was included in our SoA but so far so good.

I would give it a go if you like but i tried the other day and as an undischarged BR they told me they cant help me so let us know if you do try.

We all get conflicting info from these places and so sometimes its best to try it our for yourself.

LOL
