Posted - 15 December 2008 : 18:27:10 Clearly, there is little chance of getting any kind of a loan for anything if you are undischarged bankrupt and you are duty bound to declare BR for any loan of more than £500. It won't be much easier for a long time after discharge, either.

Once you go bankrupt you cannot obtain any credit of £500 or more without telling the lender that you are bankrupt. So if you want to borrow to get a decent car then it is highley unlikely that you will get a loan.
