Posted - 14 December 2008 : 18:14:29 I have just noticed a massive typing error on one of the figures owed on one of my loans on the SOA. I went over and over and over the forms and never noticed it until now when I was sorting all the paperwork for the official receiver. It is a huge difference in the amount owed what on earth do I do?
Also paperwork I have only got the last 4 months CC statements and bank statements as I never kept them would always shred after paying and bank statements had so many I cleared old ones out when we moved the very start of this year, I never dreamt I would go bankrupt so never thought I would need them once paid or checked.
I feel stupid and this really has been the worst year possible for me.
This website has been fab though and thank you everyone for helping me. |

Posted - 15 December 2008 : 17:51:26 I am not sure if you have already submitted the form but, as others have said, you can amend any mistakes as you go along. If there is any missing paperwork that is a pity but provided the OR knows who you owe money to and a telephone number or address that may be sufficient in a lot of cases. In the final analysis anyone who you owe money too is meant to look out for bankruptcies in the Gazette newspaper and contact the OR. That is the purpose of advertising the bankruptcy. Of course, the more detail you can provide the smoother it might go. |

When making changes to a court form it is best to use black ink :-)

Posted - 14 December 2008 : 18:49:36 Hi Help
Just cross out the amount and rewrite it in on all 3. With regards to the statements dont worry they will get what they need from the creditors so i would not worry about it at all.
Any alterations on the forms make sure that you do on all the forms that you have to take.
LOL
