Hi, I have just been made BR. I have a joint loan secured on my property (already repossessed). Now I'm thinking they will go after my wife for the debts. She runs a small shop and if she has to go BR, will she has to stop the business? and what will happen to the business account and credit card processing facility?
Many Thanks

Thanks Paul, Yes I recognize you. I did not know who you were. I thought you were a lawyer representing my creditor? Though I thought I should have had spoken to you after helping me to the offices.
Many Thanks

Hi

I think I was in court with you - spooky!

a lot depends upon the level of debt for the secured loan and what the shortfall actually is when the house is sold.

there may be several options open to you but i would really encourage you to either phone the helpline above or an expert on the site to get a plan of action together.

incidentally - congratulations on being debt free!
