Received a letter yesterday saying my BR file will shortly be transferred to the regional trustee and liquidator unit for the bournemouth office - RTLU is in Swansea. Does anyone know what this means???

no the property is a matter between you and your lender. I would always send the keys to them with an explanatory letter and, in case they should need it, full details of the OR's office and the examiner dealing with your BR.

Posted - 20 December 2008 : 19:00:03 Hi John
Thanks - I was a bit worried - usually the scenario is good news/bad news and with the car being exempt I was waiting for the slap in the face!!!
Do you know if we need to offer the keys to the RTLU when we move out?

Posted - 20 December 2008 : 18:55:17 Hi again H
RTLU = Regional Trustee Liquidation Unit and the transfer of your case from the OR to them is the norm where assets exist - even if neg equity etc.
Nothing to worry about.
