Posted - 30 December 2008 : 14:32:39 Hi i had the same problem with o2 they cancelled my contract which was up to date as soon as they knew that i had gone bankrupt.
They then billed me for the rest of the contract year too, luckily for me i had written the contract balance and details on the SoA so it was included in the bankruptcy.
Never mind :-(

Posted - 30 December 2008 : 14:23:52 Hey Stu
I obviously got an awkward one at Orange, because as soon as they found out they cut me off, and didnt give me the option to keep my number on PAYG.....I was up to date too !!
Onwards and Upwards is the way im going :-0)
From "Moneyworries" to "Movin On" in 3 months is fantastic :-))

Posted - 30 December 2008 : 12:31:28 Hi
the OR will notify Orange of your bankruptcy. You will be ok to keep up the contract but the the final decision will be with Orange not the OR.
Why not call Orange customer service and ask what their current policy regarding bankrupts is.
