Posted - 31 December 2008 : 14:05:47Hi John and welcome
We do need a bit more info from you as mr&mrs has said.
There is no stigma against bankruptcy now but the details of your bankruptcy would go into a local paper and also the London Gazette, but if you have exceptional reasons why you dont want them advertised you can apply for a stay of advertisment through the court and if they allow it then you may be able to stop some info being published. It could be for reasons of your life beinbg in danger if your details were published and at the end of the day the court would have to agree it.
Are you receiving your pension or are you about to receive a lump sum? Are you working at all?
Thanks and sorry to ask

Do you have any assets? Your home? A car? You really need to take expert advice. Contact the bankruptcy helpline or Reviva Uk to speak to one of the experts.
All the best - I hope it works out for you, whatever you decide.
