Posted - 02 January 2009 : 08:56:56 Hi there all!
I have been on a few times re my partner going BR immenently and then following in BR myself within a couple of months. However having thought about it, we are going to do it together at the end of Janaury, so we have to save up the money with this months salary and the end of Jan, alot of money phew!
But anyway, because we have a few joint bills that could cause some problems for me before I am able to go BR thats why we have decided for the sake of 10 days (he was due to go to his BR appt on 20th Jan and gets paid again on the last friday in Jan) we have decided to do it together.
I just wanted to know what the difference (if any) is with going BR together at the same time rather than individually? I would imagine that it would be easier as maybe we would have the same OR rather than two different people? Would we still have to fill out seperate Statement of affairs or do they have joint forms?
Any advice or experience would be appreciated!
Our second daughter is due to be born around 3/02/09 so hopefully that wont be the date of our new BR appointment!

Posted - 02 January 2009 : 09:03:36 Hi Jennifer
Myself and my husband went BR together and we have had no unforseen problems, infact i would say it has been easier as we had joint debts and if i had not gone BR too then i would have been chased for the joint debts.
It will all be ok and you are best to go BR together saves the hassle.
Good luck with your new baby :-)
Best of luck
