hi
i was made bankrupt 2004 4 years ago, finnished paying instalments
of bankruptcy in janaury 2008 ,had today a letter from a credit
card what i had in the bankruptcy said i owned them money what
can i do , court trustees finnished in july 2008

Yep, been in mine only 5 months now, so not long. It is going quite quickly though thank goodness, i cant beleive how quickly it has gone by.
I dont regret it one bit though, best thing i could have done.
Shame your having to get in contact with those damn creditors again.

Yes i will let yow know , you have not been long in
bankruptcy it will get better i have been there  last payment
was jan o8 been a year now  (paid four three years )

and credit card company first letter i have had in four years

Hi Andy
I would contact your old OR and inform them or you could contact the credit card co and give them your bankruptcy info again and inform them that this debt has been paid in full by the bankruptcy and that your no longer liable.
Also infor them about the harrasment of creditors act and that should get them of off your back.
You could also send a copy of your Bankruptcy to them and also your discharge is you have them to hand, make sure you post with proof of delivery.
