Posted - 14 January 2009 : 19:19:53 hello there,
I had my OR phonecall today which was no probs but as I still have some stock left over from the shop she said I would get a visit from someone(maybe she meant bailiff) to do an inventory of its value.
this is no problem with this but there is a nagging doubt that once i let them in then they can search through every drawer or cupboard of my home.
also, the OR said I would need a face to face meeting in Bristol which is a 100 mile round trip into unknown territory and i have just started a new job which is Monday to Friday so a meeting might be difficult for 2 or 3 weeks. Would the OR be flexible because of my situation and do you think if I sent her all the requested info she would agree to a telephone interview?
thanks, andy |

The reason you have to have a face to face is more than likely due to the fact that you ran a business and i dare say that a telephone interview may not surfice.
As for the changing of it within reason they will try and accomodate but you will have to mention this to them.
The people coming to value your left over stock SHOULD NOT go through your drawers so dont worry about that.
