Hi Ian, My wife and I had to do the same in April 08, as advised everything is seperate and you have to do all papers individually. With regard to court fees if, like me, you were made redundant by failure of your business and are now eligible for benefits etc. You may have to pay court fees in full then apply for a refund when your eligibility for benefit is confirmed. We had to apply for this at court and it took about 3 weeks to come back.
With the fantastic help of everyone on Bankruptcyhelp.org.uk you will get through this, we are nearly there, just arguing with trustee over Property Interest, see seperate post, but it is working out. Main tip, get a prepaid "credit card" such as idtprome.com and make it reloadable. Yoy'll find you can pay just about anything with one of these and makes all the hassle with a bank so much less problematic!! All the very best.

Hi Ian.johnson42,

Unfortunately, despite the fact you are married, you will need a set of paperwork and court fee each (as you are two seperate legal entities). Please ensure that any joint debts are listed in full on both sets of paperwork.
