Posted - 17 January 2009 : 21:17:54 Hi Can someone tell me when the baliffs are going to start knocking? I've been advised not to go br for a few months. In the meantime I just cannot afford to pay my creditors, I am going to offer a token payment but I know they will not accept this.Can the creditors just send in the baliffs or do they have to take me to county court first. I havn't a clue how it works or whats going to happen.

It is to my understanding that creditors have to apply to the court for a CCJ and then if you breach the nthey can send the baliffs in, apparently baliffs arent that bad, bit like bankruptcy they have a stigma attached to them, thee process of CCJ can take months anyway
