Hi Tim73

You will have to declare your co-op cashminder account even if they are not being used.

Do you mean by fee that you might end up with a IPA. If all your wages is for essential living costs as you say then you should not get an IPA. You are allowed up to £99 of disposable income before being subject to an IPA.

will i have to declare my cashminder account when i go bankrupt even tho ive never used this account before, also every penny of my wages is for living so will i still have to pay a fee each month?

Hi Tim73

There should be no problem in having your wages paid into your co-op bank account. The co-op cashminder account is bankrupt friendly so there should not be a problem with it, as long as the balance in that account is for essential expenditure.

When I went bankrupt I emptied all money from my accounts even my co-op account to be on the safe side, as I needed money for essential living costs. I then started using my co-op account again after about a month when things had calmed down a little.
